WRINKLES & FINE LINES
Fine lines and wrinkles are more than ever the markers of facial ageing. At the aesthetic centre of Doctor Nasser Madi, we offer several techniques to reduce these signs and give you a more youthful and energetic yet natural face.
Botulinum toxin type A is a protein naturally produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacteria. When injected, botulinum toxin causes muscle relaxation in the treated areas. In cosmetic medicine, this procedure reduces the more pronounced wrinkles that can make the face look tired or bitter, thus restoring a serene and relaxed appearance to the face.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in the dermis that fills the space between collagen and elastin fibres. Thanks to its hydrophilic properties, hyaluronic acid attracts water and thereby helps add volume and hydration to the skin. It plays a key role in anchoring important facial structures. This results in a lifting of the face, with a slimmer face, rather than a wider face, as is often feared by our patients.
PRP (PLATELET-RICH PLASMA)
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) involves injecting your own plasma, after it has been separated by centrifugation from a sample of your own blood. This process separates red and white blood cells from your plasma and platelets; the latter contains growth factors and platelets in high concentrations.
Mesotherapy is a medical treatment, known for a very long time, which consists of injecting drugs or mixtures of drugs into the skin. It was initially used in medicine, particularly in rheumatic diseases and sports-related injuries (osteoarthritis, tendonitis, muscle tears). For many years, mesotherapy has also been used, with increasing success, in aesthetic medicine.
